This sword is notorious for being "unbreakable, unbendable, and smoothing cutting" This sword making tradition by Japanese craftsman has made its way into modern knife making in Japan.
The name of this product "Seki magoroku" came from Magoroku Kanemoto, the 27th generation swordsmith.

Special technology "thread cutting blade":
In order to finish the blade with a sharp edge, the Japanese craftsman succeeded in thread cutting blade attachment by using their unique technology. By making the small blade a fine thread cutting blade, it is easy to re-sharpen.
"Wooden octagonal handle" is easy to fit your hands.
The knife craftsman used a special technique to make the wood strong against water. 

■Deba Knife (105/180mm): Pointed-blade knife that primarily used to cut fish, though also ideal for cutting meat or poultry.
■Sashimi Knife (210mm): This is particularly suitable for cutting raw fish fillets into thin slices (sashimi) and is often referred to as a sashimi knife.

刀剣が「折れず曲がらず、よく切れる」と称賛された信念は、現代の刃物作りにもしっかりと受け継がれています。本製品「関孫六」の銘は27代目兼元、刀匠金子孫六氏によるもので、匠の技を生かしながら、その切れ味を現代に伝えています。

特殊技術「糸切刃」: 
切れ味の良い刃に仕上げるため、ステンレス製和包丁では難しい糸切刃付けを独自の技術により実現させることに成功。小刃を細かい糸切刃にすることで、研ぎ直しがしやすくなっています。フィット感の高い「積層強化木八角ハンドル」柄の素材には高級感を持ちつつ強度に優れた積層強化木を使用。天然木に特殊加工を施し、木の良さを活かしつつ、水に強く仕上げました。

■出刃包丁 (105/180mm):   刃元が厚く、切っ先が鋭く薄いのが特長です。魚の三枚おろしや獣肉を骨ごとたたき切るのに活用できます。
■刺身包丁(210mm):  素材の組織細胞をつぶさないで一気に引き切る和包丁の代表です。
